Description: QA Manager
Responsible for:
• The day to day supervision of the Quality Control Department
• Ensuring that QA/QC systems are adhered to
• Liaising with production, procurement, projects and QA Departments regarding quality control and inspection requirements
• Inspections at nominated sub-contractors
• Participation during internal and external audits & project kick off meetings
• Ensuring that weld procedure and welder qualification register is updated
• Production of process control and inspection documentation as required

Ideally from a fabrication and welding background the successful candidate will ideally possess:
• A working knowledge of ISO9001 Quality, ISO3834-2 Welding & EN1090 Class 3, Management Systems
• Supervisory experience
• QC/Inspection experience
• An understanding of NDT techniques
• An understanding of coating systems i.e. painting
• Ability to use computers and IT & Qualified system auditor

A qualification in any of the above would be a distinct advantage however we are prepared to provide training and development to the right candidate.
